ABOUT ME

I have been at the forefront of transmedia production since joining Starlight Runner Entertainment in 2008. As Executive Editor, Lead Transmedia Producer, and Senior Writer, I have designed multi-year rollouts for franchises both large and small, analyzing and crafting story worlds that have been enjoyed by millions of people worldwide. My output for the company also includes video game scripting, narrative design, screenwriting, editing, social media design, brand analysis, marketing plans, game design, and demographic studies.

In addition to my work for SLR, I teach writing and new media production at both the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema and The New School, and have produced works in a multitude of different media. My audio drama, Queens of the Sapphire Sea, is gearing up for a second season, while my podcast, Building a Better Story World, is currently climbing the charts. From comic books (ArcaneTiara: Mistress of Time, Chronicles of the Sound) to screenplays (Brew Boys, The Three Knots), to television (Diamonds in the Dark, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dexter), to stageplays (The Three Women Jeremy Winters Loved, Concrete Jungle Bunny), I have been a prolific, successful crafter of content on every platform for which I’ve written.

I was born in Pittsburgh and am a graduate of New York University’s Department of Dramatic Writing (’06). When not working, I enjoy homebrewing, hockey, poetry, and having a good time.
